This month’s newsletter features some recent tour highlights, the adventures of Trudi the Wombat and the Great Ocean Road is our feature destination. This month’s YET spotlight falls on Chauffeur Guide Ben Hosken.
What’s happening at Your Exclusive Tours?
They say December is the silly season and it was definitely the case here at Your Exclusive Tours. From birthday celebrations to wedding anniversaries, capturing one guest’s best blue steel look, having Trudi the Wombat on tour, and celebrating Christmas with our family and friends.
Whether our guests are celebrating a birthday, anniversary, or special milestone; we love to incorporate this into our experiences. This could be a photo, an animal encounter, tasting, dining experience, or visiting that bucket list location here in Melbourne & Victoria.
An integral part of the experience with Your Exclusive Tours is creating or capturing that special moment whilst on tour. There are two highlights from December that really stand out being:
1. Inspired by Derek Zoolander’s Blue Steel look comes our guest George and his look of “The COG” (The Cool Ol’ George). This photo was captured on Hosier Lane on our Melbourne City Sights & Surrounds Private Experience.
2. Hot Air Ballooning over the Yarra Valley with Go Wild Ballooning on New Years Eve. What a way to end the year with our guests!
This month’s feature review is from our Melbourne City Sights & Surrounds Private Experience, with this review highlighting how seamlessly the YET team can adjust a booking to truly make it ‘Your Experience’. We had a fantastic day with Jamie and his family. We thank Jamie for his kind words.
Destination Experience of the Month – The Great Ocean Road
The Great Ocean Road is a world-famous tourist destination, featuring over 250 kilometres of stunning scenery and incredible wildlife including koalas, kangaroos and native birdlife, as well as stunning ocean views. An experience on the Great Ocean Road includes the opportunity to explore an incredible variety of landscapes and points of interest including quaint beachside townships, world famous surf beaches, the lush green rainforests of the Otway Ranges, the wild Shipwreck Coast and finally the breathtaking rock formations of the 12 Apostles.
Truly one of our 365 day a year destinations, the Great Ocean Road has something to offer our guests no matter what the weather is doing. We’ve explored the road in air-conditioned comfort on hot days, and rugged up warm when the weather turns less friendly, but either way, the experiences shared with our guests make for amazing stories when they return home.
We take pride in taking our guests to the road’s most iconic locations, sharing some of its best kept secrets and hidden gems, whilst telling the stories & tales behind the Great Ocean Road.
We combine this with some of the road’s most sumptuous food and drink, be it fine wines, great spirits or most luxurious of hot chocolates. A day on the Great Ocean Road with YET is a feast for the senses.

I would like to attempt to run a bar or winery. - Tell us something about yourself that we don’t know
I am a ballroom dance teacher and accomplished competitor in the sport. - What’s your favourite quote?
“Any day could be your last. So enjoy the small things and don’t get hung up on things you cannot change”.
