Have You Heard Y.E.T? – June 2024
We’re recapping some May ‘Exhibitionism’ in this June edition of ‘Have You Heard Y.E.T?!’
Welcome to the Juneedition of ‘Have you Heard Y.E.T?!’
This month’s newsletter features a recap of our May adventures, including our first guests to include a light plane flight in their experience. We confess to a bit of May ‘Exhibitionism’ and our team member spotlight feature draws to a close with Andrew. Our feature experience is Wedding Transport.
What’s happening at Your Exclusive Tours?
The Stars Wars saying “May the fourth be with you” was the case through May here at Your Exclusive Tours. With multiple bookings heading out into our favourite destinations across Victoria and three trade events throughout the month with a Wedding Expo, Australia Tourism Exchange 2024 (ATE24), and Les Clefs d’Or Victorian Concierge Tourism Expo.
Our preparation for ATE24 saw several product enhancements, new brochures, and presentations which we look forward to sharing with you in coming editions of Have You Heard YET?!
There are several highlights from May that we would like to share:
- The first look at Lochlan & Monique’s wedding at Dromana Estate.
- Our first guests to book a plane flight along the Great Ocean Road travelling from Moorabbin Airport to Peterborough where chauffeur guide Andrew meet the guests for their return journey along the Great Ocean Road.
- Photo bombing for obligatory selfies at the ATE24 Victoria Showcase night at the Esplanade Hotel (AKA ‘The Espy’).
- The celebration of Bob & Randi’s 50th wedding anniversary! And they’re still on their honeymoon!
.
Y.E.T has fun with some May ‘Exhibitionism’
May was a big month for us for another reason – in addition to sharing some fabulous experiences with our guests, we attended a record 3 expos in one month!
Our Chauffeur Guide Jenny brought a bit of Y.E.T magic to the Wedding Expo at Yarra Ranges Estate. Jenny spoke to many brides and grooms to be, all keen to ensure that their special day’s transport logistics would be placed into the hands of a geat team of professionals.
Rob and Kylie then had a BIG week and a half with the crown jewel of Australia’s Tourism Expos, ATE (Australian Tourism Exchange). As we mentioned in our previous edition, ATE was hosted in our own hometown of Melbourne, Victoria this year.
We were privileged to run a series of familairisation tours on behalf of Visit Victoria. We had the delight of showcasing Victoria for two groups of overseas travel professionals, with our ‘Valley to the Bays’ and ‘Wine, Spa & Wildlife’ experiences delighting our guests.
The expo itself provided us with a few long, but great days. We enjoyed the opportunity to renew connections from previous ATEs and make new connections globally. If you met with us and are reading this, let us say “G’Day and Thanks!”
ATE24 here in Melbourne was an outstanding success. We would like to acknowledge the team at Visit Victoria for all their hard work, tireless effort, and amazing results in bringing this event together.
Our third and final trade show for the month was the Les Clefs d’Or Victorian Concierge Tourism Expo. Concierges are such a key resource for hotel guests, always providing great outcomes for their guests’ many requests. Again, it was great to catch up with many of the concierges we already know within the Melbourne area and form connections with ones we haven’t yet had the pleasure of working with.
We had a lot of fun with our May ‘Exhibitionism’, and we look forward to cementing those new relationships we made from each expo as the weeks progress.
Review of the Month
This month’s review comes from Elita Frazer, who used our Wedding Transport service. We chose this one because it shows us doing what we do best – adapting our services on the day to ensure a great experience for each and every guest. Thanks Elita for leaving it for us.
Experience of the Month – Wedding Transport
There are many stunning destinations to get married around Victoria. Whether your dream location is one of the Yarra Valley’s wineries, Melbourne’s CBD and surrounds, or the beachside glory of the Mornington Peninsula, Geelong & the Bellarine, Phillip Island or the Great Ocean Road, one of the most key logistical decisions is choosing Wedding Transport.
When a bride and groom to be plan their special day, one of the most common areas where things can ‘go off the rails’ is transport. For a wedding day to function smoothly, an entire team of key people – the bride, groom, bridal party, family members etc, all have to get to the right place, at the right time, safely, and with no stress.
Your Exclusive Tours’ Wedding Transport is designed to do just that. From direct transport for the Bride and Groom, to transport for extended family, from airport pickups and drop-offs to honeymoon transport, we get you where you need to go, when you need to be there.
Our professional Chauffeur guides provide a truly ‘red carpet’ experience (literally!), and our luxury Mercedes Benz vehicles, bedecked in personalised ribbon, add a touch of class to your day.
Your Exclusive Tours’ Wedding Transport service is designed to provide a seamless experience
