This month’s newsletter features a recap of the biggest January we’ve ever had, we’re announcing a new team member starting soon and Phillip Island is our feature destination.

What’s happening at Your Exclusive Tours?

Your Exclusive Tours got off to a flying start in 2024, and January certainly set a few records throughout the month. From New Year celebrations, family vacations, school holidays and shore excursions, to the Australian Open Tennis in Melbourne, we were certainly kept on our toes!

As proud Melbournians and Victorians, we love showcasing our city and regional destinations to our guests. The hidden gems, culinary experiences, colourful locals, and destinations we visit never cease to amaze us. Like the new Visit Victoria campaign “Every Bit Different”, our city and regional destinations have it all and we are the same.

January certainly had a bit of everything and some of these highlights include:

• Having your own business card printed with your lunch order. 
• A stunning wedding in the Yarra Valley at Acacia Ridge Winery. Upon arriving at venue, the bridal party realised their bouquets were still at their accommodation. With the bride’s Godfather in tow, our Chauffeur Guide raced back to the accommodation to collect the bouquets and returned in timely fashion for the bride to walk down the aisle with her flowers. 
• Our guests from Chicago were garden enthusiasts and they requested to visit Cloudhill Gardens and Nursery in the Dandenong Ranges via our On Demand Concierge service. This experience did not disappoint, and we captured their precious memory of celebrating 20 years together.

This month’s feature review is from our Great Ocean Road Express tour, with this one highlighting how easily we can provide a fantastic experience without the 12+ hour long days that can be anticipated when visiting this destination. We had a great day with Giancarlo and family and we thank him for leaving this review for us.

After experiencing a visit from Trudi the Wombat, courtesy of young Tyson Rees’ childcare centre, the Your Exclusive Tours team have decided to add a permanent mascot to the team. We are currently interviewing suitable candidates, so stay tuned for updates on our latest team member!

Destination Experience of the Month – Phillip Island

When people think Phillip Island the first thing that comes to mind is, naturally, its iconic Penguin Parade. The daily march of these little penguins has been fascinating locals and tourists alike for nearly 100 years. Fun fact – the Penguin Parade attraction even pre-dates the existence of the first bridge from the mainland to the island!

But a Phillip Island experience can include so much more than the little Penguins. From the Wildlife park to the Chocolate factory, from A Maze’n Things to the Grand Prix Circuit and from the beaches to the lookouts, there’s something on the island to delight everyone.

We take pride in creating the perfect experience for each of our guests, combining a day’s adventure with the best of the island’s food & drink while you also take in the stunning views of its unique coastline. Indeed, Phillip Island is one of the most uniquely diverse locations Victoria has to offer, and when you explore and experience it with us, we will always leave you thrilled.
