This month’s article features some highlights from our November tours, our 2023 wrap-up, plus the announcement of some new additions to our Great Ocean Road and Yarra Valley experiences!
What’s happening at Your Exclusive Tours?
It has been a busy November here at Your Exclusive Tours with weddings, tours, and meeting guests from interesting professions. There were a couple of days in November where our team members have been like Clark Kent (aka Superman), switching from being in their guiding uniform in the morning to our formal attire for weddings in the afternoon and evening.
With our Wedding Transport service, we achieved a couple of milestones throughout November, including some notable experiences, from having a helicopter deliver the bridal party to the ceremony, moving over 100 guests for a wedding, and an amazing backyard wedding overlooking the Yarra Valley and Yarra Ranges.
From the Pinot Noir and Chardonnay of the Mornington Peninsula to the cool-climate region of the Yarra Valley producing Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, and methode traditionelle sparkling, these regions have tested the palate of our guests.
From social wine drinkers to wine enthusiasts to sommeliers, these wine tastings have evoked some serious discussions and learning experiences. A real highlight for the YET team is observing the cellar door taking our guests on a journey to discover the regions’ most unique wines.
It was exciting to receive this review from Leonie Smith acknowledging our amazing services and Chauffeur Guide Jenny. I personally take great pride in passing on guests’ reviews to our team members and wish to thank Leonie for submitting it to us.
YET comes together to celebrate 2023
On Thursday 30/11, the Your Exclusive Team came together over dinner and bowling to celebrate a successful 2023. It was a great opportunity to bring the team together to enjoy each other’s company.
Our fearless leaders Rob and Kylie went toe to toe in the bowling, with Kylie taking out the first game by 10 pins, but Rob eventually claiming victory by 4 pins across both games. The rest of the team did their best to score a strike or spare here and there, but our standout bowler was Chauffeur Guide Ben, blitzing the rest of the team with a combined total score of over 340! Nicely done Ben (aka Twinkle Toes).
New Experiences added to our destinations
Wildlife Wonders joins the Great Ocean Road Experience!
Your Exclusive Tours is proud to announce that Wildlife Wonders will now be added to our itinerary options for the Great Ocean Road.
Guests can choose to stop at the picturesque Wildlife Wonders Sanctuary, seeing Australia’s most iconic animals, including Kangaroos, Koalas, Emus, Birds and even some of our Reptiles (they’re not all poisonous – we promise!)
This is an amazing experience to add to the itinerary whilst exploring the Great Ocean Road on either our full day or sunset private experiences.
Choose to visit Rayner’s Orchard or Cherryhill Orchard as part of our Yarra Valley experience!
Your Exclusive Tours is also thrilled to announce the addition of Rayner’s Orchard and Cherryhill Orchard to our Yarra Valley experience.
Cherryhill Orchard is one of Victoria’s premier producers of cherries. From November to February of each year, guests can choose to stop at the beautiful orchards and pick from over 30 varieties of cherry. This diverse variety of flavours and types provides Cherryhill with one of the longest picking seasons of any cherry orchard in Australia.
Rayner’s Orchard is a boutique fruit orchard producing over 450 varieties of fruit including citrus, kiwi fruit, guava, figs, pepino, peaches, nectarines, plums, pomegranate and more. Their onsite store provides jams, chutneys, bottled and dried fruits, all produced onsite from their very own orchards.
A visit to either Cherryhill Orchard or Rayner’s Orchard is a perfect addition to exploring and experiencing the Yarra Valley with Your Exclusive Tours.
