This month’s newsletter wraps up Rob’s reflections on May, our highlighted supplier is Melbourne’s own Brunetti Oro and the experience of the month is our On Demand Concierge service.

What’s happening at Your Exclusive Tours?

Over previous years, the Stars Wars saying “May the fourth be with you” was the case throughout the month of May. This year, May has been one of our quietest months we have experienced for some time. When looking at the events of the month, Australia had its federal election, there’s global economic conditions with increased tariffs and trade policy uncertainty, and cost of living pressures.

Whilst speaking with industry colleagues and fellow business owners, the sentiments were the same with their businesses. A fellow colleague said “we’ve had a whirlwind season since October last year and the extended warm weather into Autumn has been fantastic up until the end of April. Yes, it is now quiet, take this as an opportunity to rest, relax, recharge and prepare for next season”. This statement echoes so much.

There are several highlights from May that we would like to share:

An airport transfer for a family of 6 with 16 pieces of luggage. It was like playing the video game Tetris packing all the luggage in the back of our Mercedes Benz Sprinter.

This is Captain Robert Olea celebrating 35 plus years as an International Pilot for United Airlines. We had the pleasure of hosting Captain Olea and his family on his final layover here in Melbourne. Happy Retirement!

Review of the Month

This month’s review is from Samantha. Samantha and her partner enjoyed 2 beautiful days with Your Exclusive Tours as part of their honeymoon, combining elements of our Mornington Peninsula, Yarra Valley and Great Ocean Road tours, with extras like their customised vehicle ribbon and Rob taking photos throughout making their tour experience a never to be forgotten experience. Our Suppliers – Brunetti Oro

We continue our ‘Our Suppliers’ series this month with a look at Brunetti Oro.

Who are they?
Brunetti Oro is a luxury patisserie that has risen from humble beginnings to become a Melbourne institution. Its history dates back to 1956 when founder Giorgio Angele joined the Italian Olympic team in Melbourne as their pastry chef. Staying behind once the Olympics was over, he then opened his first cake shop that later that year, eventually taking over Brunetti’s in 1991.

What do they do?

Brunetti’s produce some of Melbourne’s most exquisite cakes, pastries, coffee and Italian cuisine. From individual pastries to deluxe cannoli towers, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
