This month’s newsletter features some exciting news about the launch of a new product line – the Your Exclusive Tours Signature Collection! We’re also launching a new team member feature “Bucket List Destinations”, and our feature destination is Winter on the Great Ocean Road.
What’s happening at Your Exclusive Tours?
Wow…hard to believe we have come to end of another financial year. The past 12 months have been challenging, yet exciting at the same time. From investments in our new website and motor vehicles, to staff training and development and the continual development of our relationship with trade and distribution partners.
The winter weather has certainly arrived here in Melbourne, turning cold and wet. We have been fortunate on our touring days with our guests, the weather has been somewhat friendly during the tour and only turned towards the conclusion of our tour experiences.
From the Great Ocean Road to the Yarra Valley, Mornington Peninsula to Ballarat, milestone birthday celebrations and late night Wedding Transfers in the Dandenong Ranges, we have been kept busy and entertained with our guests. Some of the highlights included:

- We take great pride and understanding in our guest capacities and accessibility requirements. Our tour to Ballarat had Glenn and his electric scooter exploring the goldfields of Sovereign Hill and leaving dust around those redcoats as we left.
- A surprise 40th birthday celebration with a high tea at Coombe Estate in the Yarra Valley!
- A family adventure to the Brighton Bathing Boxes, Moonlit Sanctuary, and Puffing Billy to celebrate one guest’s 7th birthday and Grandma Dott defying the odds against stage 4 cancer. We loved Dot’s attitude and her battle against cancer. You are champion Dott! Watch the video highlights from this family’s special day here.
Y.E.T farewells its first vehicle, and welcomes two new ones!
When we started Your Exclusive Tours back in 2018, we purchased a Mercedes Benz Viano which has been our prime touring vehicle for past 6 years and was part of the family.
Unfortunately, our Viano has moved on to the big garage in the sky, and we welcome 2 new Mercedes Benz vehicles in our fleet being another V-Class and an SUV. We look forward to introducing these vehicles in our next addition.
Coming Soon – The YET Signature Collection!
We’ve always been passionate about creating fully customised, tailored experiences for our guests. That not only creates fantastic experiences, it means we’re always at the forefront as trends change, because when our guests can’t find what they want, they come to us.
So based on the more ‘customised’ experiences we’ve creating over the last 12 months, we’ve been spending some time creating something new at YET HQ and we’re proud to announce we will soon be launching our Your Exclusive Tours Signature Collection. We’re already running these three signature experiences with more to come very soon.

- Wildlife and Wine / Distillery Private Experience

Review of the Month
This month’s feature review is from US Based Travel Advisor Katie Hunter. Your Exclusive Tours came to the rescue for a last-minute Shore Excursion in March. It was wonderful to receive this review and acknowledgement in June. We value our relationships with our trade partners and stakeholders. As you can see, her guests had a great day with us, and we thank Katie for her review.
Destination of the Month – Winter on the Great Ocean Road
When people picture the Great Ocean Road, it’s generally like this – warm weather, cracking sunshine and hats, shorts and sunnies on!
However, as Victorians, we know that the Great Ocean Road is as stunning in Winter as it is in Summer, and it may surprise you to know that we book almost as many Great Ocean Road experiences through our Winter months as in our Summer season. And that’s why this month our feature destination is Winter on the Great Ocean Road.
From Maits Rest in the Otway Ranges to Split Point Lighthouse, from the 12 Apostles to Lorne, the Great Ocean Road destinations are visually stunning in all weather. And there is no better time of year to experience the Sunset over the 12 Apostles than in winter, as, unlike summer, you’re not waiting until 9-10pm to see it!
When winter kicks in and the temperate drops, nothing is better than the decadent hot chocolate from the Great Ocean Road Chocolaterie, a whiskey tasting at one of the award-winning distilleries, a brisk walk in the weather or to take in the stunning vistas.
And, of course, all of this is experienced from one of our fleet of warm, comfortable Mercedes Benz vehicles.

New Segment – Bucket List Destinations
Over the last 12 months we’ve enjoyed sharing our team with you in our ‘Team Member Spotlight’ series and we appreciate all the great feedback (and some gentle ribbing!) that we’ve received from it.
This month we’re launching a new segment – Bucket List Destinations. And who better to start with than our fearless leader, Rob Rees.
- What is your YET bucket list destination / experience and why?
As the owner of the business, I am passionate and love all the YET destinations we visit, however Phillip Island holds a special place in the heart and memories. My family had a holiday house on Phillip Island for 15 years. I love sharing my memories, stories, and tales of our adventures and how much mischief I may have caused, or got into…..
- What is your personal bucket list destination / experience?
I would love to visit the Moab Desert to do a Tandem Base Jump and Rope Swing Moab.
