Mornington Peninsula

Mornington Peninsula

The Mornington Peninsula is located 1-hour south east of Melbourne and is the playground of Melbourne’s rich and famous. It is a small strip of land that has kilometres of twinkling calm bayside beaches on one side and rugged surf beaches only a few kilometres across on the ocean side of the peninsula. The stunning coastal scenery with its rock pools and clifftop slopes have incredible walking tracks along the top of the cliffs so you can walk along and experience the magnificent and rugged ocean below you.

Slightly inland is a rich mixture of wineries, local gourmet produce, magnificent golf courses, outdoor activities and the new Arthurs Seat Eagle Chair Lift that has amazing views right across the bay to Melbourne. The Peninsula Hot Spring Spas are also a highlight of the area too.

The Mornington Peninsula is an easy drive and it’s easy to get around and see a huge variety of activities and scenery. Great for kids because of the shallow safe front beaches, rock pools they can explore at the back beaches, The Arthurs Seat Chairlift, the jetties, the farm style wineries they can explore while you enjoy the scenery and the fine food and wine.
